My name is Charlotte pARSONS

I'm a San Francisco-based hairstylist with over 10 years of experience, specializing in blondes, seamless extensions, and effortless color. I believe great hair should feel natural, wearable, and easy, with results that grow out beautifully. My work is rooted in thoughtful technique, subtle dimension, and a personalized approach.

Extension color match is everything. Bellami offers a wide array of colors that allows you to mix and match to create any desired look. Every once in a while, someone is in-between shades and that’s where custom coloring comes in. This client was in-between two shades: off-black and black. Instead of compromising, I toned Bellami off-black k-tips with Redken shadesEQ for the perfect color match. This creates a blend that allows for nearly undetectable extensions.

After a decade at Patrick Evan Salon, I’m so excited to share that I’ll be joining the team at Union & Mane, located at 1779 Union Street in San Francisco’s Marina District.

I’m incredibly grateful for the journey I’ve had at Patrick Evan Salon and for every client, colleague, teacher, and mentor who has supported me along the way. This place and industry has been so much more than a job - it’s been a channel for creative expression, a space to cultivate meaningful relationships, and a space to root and grow.

I’m looking forward to continuing this journey in a new space while offering the same high-quality service, connection, and creativity you know and trust. I cannot thank you enough for your continued support and look forward welcoming you to this new space for your cut, color, or extension needs 💕

I live for a bleach and tone. There is something so satisfying about the meticulousness of the process, and the bright clean boldness of the result. Lightened with @goldwellus silk lift pearl, toned with colorance for a creamy milk blonde.

🍑 Peach pink sorbet 🍑 Crystal wanted to transition from a bleach and tone to a softer grow out that allowed her to go longer between appointments. I opted to do foils work and a root blur so she keeps her transition zone bright but soft. To finish, I glossed with @goldwellus pastel pink, 10bv, 8bv, and cool pink pigments for a soft pink peach finish.

Every time Lauren comes in, I tweak her color match a little bit. Does it always look great? Yes. Do I leave notes from myself from the previous appointment about the color and placement and how I could improve it? Also yes. This is the benefit of working with the same stylist - little tweaks over time that lead to ultimately better looks over time. This color match is a blend of 22 inch k-tips in 3 different @bellamihair shades that have 4 different colors - walnut glow, walnut brown, and moccachino brown - strategically placed to mimic the highs and lows of her own hair color.

I’m always on the search for the perfect color match. This k-tip install used a combination of 3 different colors to capture all of the highs and lows in Lauren’s hair. Each row is a custom blend, installed to match her pre-existing color pattern. That looks like using more dark tones underneath with lighter blends on top. We love the result.

In fact, most of the extensions instillations I do are for people who have gone through hormonal or disease-related hair loss who just want to feel like they are back to their normal selves again. A little can go a long way, as demonstrated here: 2 packs of wavy bellami k-tips at 50 grams of hair fills out Lisa’s ends just the right amount leaving her hair looking fuller while still being realistic. We love the results 💕
